Summer Programme 2022- places are going fast!

What’s on offer?

Holiday social activities supporting disadvantaged children and young people Mon Tues Wed Thu 10 till 3. Beyond providing lunch and an afternoon snack from our Community Café in our grounds, activities focus on making best use of our spaces indoor and outdoor to encourage often reluctant and excluded C and YP to enjoy tennis skills, basketball skills, rounders, kurling and boccia – where our own young leaders train and support others to achieve their leadership certificates and lead sessions. Couch to 5k starts at the beginning of each holiday period so everyone can build their progress and see their journey across a minimum of 2 weeks. The focus is fitness – the offshoot is social interaction, fun and fresh air. All holiday periods have a programme in place beforehand with activities informed by our term time attendees: arts and crafts, music, dance, games and trips out.

Date and time of Activity: 25th July to 4th September MTWT 4 days a week 6 weeks 10am to 3pm

Contact information: Tracey Anderson 0191 4661667 info@ntdf.co.uk or email info@ntdf.co.uk and leave a contact number for Tracey to call you.

NTDF Seasonal Programmes are suitable for C and YP who are disadvantaged by some aspect of disability, ill health, and/or vulnerability – this can include physical, sensory and moderate learning disability – we are suitable for children and young people who by choice – and not direction – choose to participate in the accessible and supported holiday opportunities we can provide. NOTE : NTDF is not a care provider – we offer opportunities around social, cultural and physical wellbeing.

Food offer: Lunch and afternoon snack from our NTDF Community Café in our grounds

Booking information: Please contact Tracey Anderson asap if you would like to be considered for a place in our Holiday Activities. Our programmes are not suitable for everyone, and places are limited.

Priority goes to children and young people who use our term time evening and Saturday activities – but we are open to new participants and Tracey will be able to tell you how your children and young people can get involved…
