Temporary Summer Shop Staff

We need summer staff to support our team at our NTDF Community Charity shop in Whitley Bay.

Start asap to September 30th 2022 must be available and able to work 10 till 2pm Tuesday, Wed, Thurs and Saturday – 20 hours per week

Energy and enthusiasm is as important as experience and a love of life and people is essential. Energy as much as expertise, tolerance as much as technique. You must be reliable and trustworthy and willing to turn your hand to whatever is needed.

The post involves supporting disabled people who are enjoying work experience  opportunities and working to help us make our community shop somewhere that is welcoming where people can get quality goods and fair process which also allows disabled and vulnerable young people to enhance their employability, engage with the local community and really show that Disability does not mean Ina ability.

From ragging and bagging, to selling and serving, taking and encouraging donations, sorting and pricing bric a brac – and if you can operate our eBay shop – even better .
